Happy New Year!

We already have so much planned for this year! Its so exciting! In staying true to our resolutions this year we have only picked 2 (as a family)

  • No fast food
  • Travel more

With that being said – we have a Disneyland trip planned for January, and a snow trip planned for February just to get us started.

Me being a lover of shopping has started a “wish” list tab for all the beautiful things that should adorn me, my home, my children, my husband, my car, etc. you get the idea!

Can’t wait to spend a great new year with you!

Love ~ Rochelle

Decking the Halls

The tree is up! Every year the day after Thanksgiving we put up the tree and decorate! This year we are doing silver and red! While the boys were at Rocking Jump with friends on Friday Ryan and I had a little mini date! We went to Pier 1 where I got a few new ornaments for our tree! I am just loving all the birds, it kinda made me wish we were doing a green and blue theme because there was a beautiful peacock ornament. After that we browsed Barnes and Noble with our coffees in hand. We have electronic books and I realized walking through how I love the smell and feel of book stores!

Hope you had fun decking your halls!

Thanksgiving {Part 2}

This was our fist attempt to take a family picture using the timer on my camera. you should have seen how rediculous we were. I was trying so hard not to laugh till I cried at the site of us running to the couch to get into position. LOL

We had family and friends over to help us celebrate – we had so much fun and are so grateful for such a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Ryan sets a mean table as well!

Early Thanksgiving

We had an early Thanksgiving at my Sister-In-Laws in Fernley, NV just outside of Reno. Going over the hill was scary – we drove right through a crazy blizzard! I have never been in an actual snow storm! We made it alive!

It was really great to see Lisa and Russ! We always have a good time! Ryan said the Wal-Mart in Fernley is awesome. They went to check out some guns and stuff.

Lisa and I stayed home to keep warm and watch some TVĀ  while the boys went to shoot a little and do some 4wheelin’. It was a true “red-neck” thanksgiving. When they boys got back we had some drinks, ate some dinner and played rock band till the wee hours of the night. Fun was had by all!

Thursday I will be cooking with the help of my brother in law, sister in law, and some dear friends of ours. The kids are really looking forward to seeing their cousins. Maybe we will even be blessed with a visit from our nephew here on break from the Marines.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

We had a full house for Easter! Karina stayed the weekend, Jim and Laurie came down from Sacramento, the usual suspects were also in attendance…Nana, poppie, Jana, Danny and family were all here. Even my friend Lani came with her two boys…

Note to self: Need larger dinning room and bigger table!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter!
